| | | Located at Fifth and Tryon Streets in the heart of Charlotte, Fifth Third Center serves as the gateway to the center city’s entertainment and cultural district. The 30– story high-rise office building compliments surrounding structures while striking its own unique pose in the Charlotte skyline.
Fifth Third Center was designed by Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart & Associates – rises 449 feet into the sky, totals 654,533 rentable square feet and includes an attached 1,030 space parking deck. Vertical articulations in the design are accented by the building’s dramatically curved crown, providing an unmistakable link between Fifth Third Center and Charlotte nicknamed the QueenCity.
Thanks to its state-of-the- art technology, Fifth Third Center ensures the safety, security and comfort of tenants and visitors. The building system integration platforms, which allows the building staff to monitor all systems from one central location, combines the environmental controls, elevator systems, parking deck access system, card access system, closed-circuit television system, video badging system, emergency voice alerting system and stairwell/parking deck scream alarms. The fiber–optic bus runs the entire length of the building.
